Upcoming Events/Elections + Other Items

Hey Heyyy Team - 

Elections:

• Info Sessions - I wanted to request your participation in the info sessions we will be having next week for potential ESGA candidates to attend. They will be held on Monday 11/4 & Tuesday 11/5 prior to class from 5:30-6:30 in Room 230. We will have pizza! Please come sit with me!
  
• Please try to talk up ESGA amongst your peers/announcements in class etc are always welcome! I have only had one person reply to my email to express some interest. Has anyone else been reached out to? Email me and let me know just so I can understand our interest levels. 
• Transition - Start to think about effective ways to transition your work. Is there anything you can put up on the google drive? Etc. I am also requiring (if I can even do that) that the newly elected ESGA board member meet with their SGA counterpart and the program office counterpart (i.e. Doreen for CM, etc) for a meeting sometime between the date they are elected and the leadership transition day (Saturday 1/11, only for new ESGA board). This is something both SGA, myself, and the program office have discussed as a way to help deepen the relationship between the organizations earlier. So if you are talking to people that are interested that is something that they should expect to be doing and engaging, in general, more with the SGA team probably more than we did this year. 

Upcoming Events

• ESGA Meetings - We were going to have one next Wednesday; however, given the election schedule I am going to go ahead and cancel that one. The next meeting will be Tuesday, 11/19 in Room 310. I want to talk about transitions during this meeting and possibly have the new President/EVP elect attend. 
• ESGA Regalia Sales - Every year ESGA sells graduation gowns to students at a discounted rate. These are used gowns donated by previous EPs. We take the proceeds from these sales and donate half to MSB on behalf of the outgoing class and half to ESGA's offshore account. We will be selling gowns the week of Nov 18th (Mon-Thur) from 5:15-6:15. If you can help sell gowns that would be greatly appreciated! Please let me know. 
• EP Winter Formal - Saturday 12/14. VP Socials do you guys want to put this up on Org Sync? Maybe send an email? When are we selling tickets?
• SAVE-THE-DATE: Jan 10th ESGA Celebration: - Tentatively Friday 1/10 will be the ESGA celebration dinner! The one we had at Ping Pong last year with both outgoing/incoming ESGA and program office personel! I am still finalizing details but hold that date. I confirmed this date works with the EP16 ACCT schedule.
