Simulator freezes for 8-threaded application at some point!

Hello,

I have written an FFT application and simulated it on ESESC. The application is configurable with thread count. The simulator works fine for 2-threaded and 4-threaded configurations. However, it freezes after simulating the first 300K instructions for 8-threaded FFT.

Any idea what is wrong here? Anyone has the same experience before?

BTW, the simulator version I am using is 2013-ARMv7.

I posted this question on Nov. 3rd, 2016, it had a typo, the typo is now fixed and the old post is deleted. Please somebody respond.

I do not know. I have not run ARMv7 for Years. We use MIPS and RISCV. I tried MIPS with the FFT and several options and it worked fine.
