Understand branch predictor configuration in simu.conf.samurai

I am using the config file simu.conf.samurai. However, I am not sure about many configs used in this file. why are there two branch predictors? My IPC falls when I have both of them running. I would like to have a better insight into the BP configs for Samurai. Is it possible? Any help would be really appreciated.

There are 2 branch predictors because processors can have a fast and a slow branch predictor
