Help for running Crafty on ESESC

I was trying to run a RISCV version of ESESC+QEMU. I build the setup successfully but I was having difficulty running the benchmark called crafty among the available benchmarks in the RISCV folder.  Although I specify the input file path in the esesc.conf file, on running the benchmark, the simulation requires me to keep entering some input on the console. I have attached the screenshot below.

crafty reads the input setup from stdin (not as an argument)

./esesc <crafty.input
