2019 Annual Meeting Minutes

[Escondido Jaycees]

The Annual Meeting of the Escondido Jaycees was convened on Sunday, December 22, 2019.

President Ingrid gave opening remarks thanking everyone for their help at the Christmas Parade and recapping this year's accomplishments before handing the meeting over to the Election Committee Chair Bryan.

Election Committee Chair Bryan began by introducing the current Board Members and explaining the duties of each.

The floor was opened for nominations for President.

Ryan Jones was nominated.  A voice vote was held, and a majority was in favor of Ryan becoming President.

The floor was opened for nominations for Vice President.

Nick Jungman and Eric Ward were nominated.

Each candidate was given an opportunity to say why they wanted the position.

A vote by secret ballot was taken, and a majority of votes went to Nick.

The floor was opened to nominations for Treasurer.

Kyle Clark was nominated.   A voice vote was held, and a majority was in favor of Kyle becoming Treasurer.

The floor was opened to nominations for Secretary.

Brooke Zaferis was nominated.  A voice vote was held, and a majority was in favor of Brooke becoming Secretary.

The 2020 Escondido Jaycees Board Members are:

President- Ryan Jones

Vice President- Nick Jungman

Treasurer- Kyle Clark

Secretary- Brooke Zaferis

Immediate Past President- Ingrid Hernandez Monroy

Elections Committee Chair Bryan turned the meeting back over to President Ingrid, who then gave the floor to Christmas Parade Chair Zack.

Christmas Parade Chair Zack facilitated a wrap-up discussion of the Christmas Parade.

A tentative date of Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 6pm at the Escondido Chamber of Commerce building was given for a public forum to discuss the Christmas Parade.  This date still needs to be confirmed.

Christmas Parade Chair Zack turned the meeting back over to President Ingrid, who adjourned the meeting.
