Hello everyone,

The Google Summer of Code 2016 is coming and it will be my last participation as a student since I''ll be making the Upper bound count :-). I have some ideas to work on for the Data Import Tool this year; which I stated in previously on my stripe Internship proposal.

However, we made some progress to the module during the Google Code-In this year. Here are just the highlights.

* Improved UI with better CSS designs
* An Introductory video tutorial on the DIT module, here on Youtube

Here are the main ideas for GSoC 2016

*Adding real time information for data migration
* Support for XLSX matching files.
* Support for Excel and CSV Data Import( Used by alot of hospitals across the continent)
* Code refactoring

I will appreciate your thoughts on this and any tweaks you might want. We will be making a matching file video which will be for posterity. When I'm done with my Final year defence. I'll focus the next few weeks on reviewing the changes from GCI 2015 and publishing a v 1.1 for the Data Import Tool.

I will also appreciate if any of the mentors could add this idea to the project ideas page.

Thanks for your feedback.
Cheers!
Nyah
