Thank you Xavier for sending these materials out. I was able to follow some at the meeting and I think it’s a great start to the collaboration on the materials to support eSaude and certification of the EMR against the Norms. I’d like to understand what the plans are for collaborating? There are a couple of approaches we can take to do this:
1. Create the documents in an online format (such as Google docs) and allow anyone with access to comment on the document
2. Create the documents in an online format and allow anyone with access to edit the document, then have an appointed person/s from eSaude (such as you or another) work on a revised draft to share based on those edits
3. Get a subcommittee from eSaude to take feedback / edits and then decide as a group (such as convening a working meeting) which edits to make and how to incorporate those
Other thoughts on how to move forward with collaborating?

Hi,
I think having one place [committee] where we can share materials is a good approach.
FGH has already shared some materials earlier with most of eSaude member separately, having one place sound good.

Hi,
I support the idea of having a committee. I believe that all the partners already implementing or planning to implement an EMR have their own SOPs and documents. For example some decided to host the system on cloud and some others on-premise or standalone, some targeted the installation SOPs to IT experts and some others to M&Es. We have different realities with the same goals, and this is important to align, merge or join all the existing scenarios to make sure that everyone will benefit from it. A committee that collects the different existing procedures and work to unify or embrace them would be more suitable, in my opinion.

The best approach is to share as Google docs to allow folks to provide feedback. Also we are working on OpenMRS training materials and another SOP. After we finish the draft we will share with you.

Hi all
Most folks have been send their document direct to me and I used to place it on eSaude website. What we are doing is not reinventing the wheel. We are using, for example, FGH training materials and improve where applicable, FHI 360 have shared their confidential documents, etc. I can schedule a meeting where we will work on all draft available if you all agree. Bare in mind that for certification purpose we need to have all process (user manual, admin manual, SOP, etc) well documented.
