Potvrda o odsustvu vozaca is a document that confirms the absence of a driver from work for a certain period of time. It is used in Serbia and other countries that follow the AETR agreement on the regulation of driving and rest periods for drivers of vehicles engaged in international road transport.

The document must be filled out in printed form and signed before the start of the journey. It must be kept with the original tachograph record or printout from the digital tachograph. Entering false data in the document constitutes an offense.

The document consists of two parts: one filled out by the employer and one filled out by the driver. The employer must provide the following information:

• Fax number

• Email address

• Surname and name of the person signing the document

• Position of the person signing the document

• Surname and name of the driver

• Date of birth of the driver (day/month/year)

• Number of driver's license, ID card or passport

• Date of employment of the driver (day/month/year)

• Period of absence of the driver: from (hour day/month/year) to (hour day/month/year)

• Reason for absence of the driver: choose only one option from the following list:

• On sick leave

• On annual leave

• Absent from work or using free days

• Driving a vehicle that is exempt from recording activities according to AETR

• Performing other tasks besides driving

• Available

• Place and date of signing the document

• Signature of the person signing the document

The driver must confirm that he or she did not drive a vehicle subject to AETR during the mentioned period by providing the following information:
