Special Issue of JEBO in honor of Gary Charness (open for submissions)

In honor of Gary Charness’s distinguished career and his contributions to the fields of behavioral and experimental economics, the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization is publishing a special issue titled "Advancing Behavioral Insights: A Tribute to Gary Charness." This special issue aims to celebrate and build upon the innovative work of Gary by exploring new research in experimental and behavioral economics, both theoretical and applied to real-world scenarios.

 

Topics for submission include, but are not limited to:

 

1. Behavioral game theory
2. Social preferences and group decision-making
3. Communication and information
4. Behavioral interventions and policy design
5. Experimental methodology
6. Worker motivation with monetary and nonmonetary rewards

 

Submission Open Date: January 31, 2025

Submission Closing Date: April 1, 2025
