Dear ESA Community,

The ESA would like to convey its condolences to the friends and family of Professor Gary Charness of the University of California, Santa Barbara, who passed away on May 17th. Gary was a true leader in our field. He was a very prolific scholar and made important contributions in many areas of experimental economics. His influential work will have an enduring impact on our field.
