We are looking for a Research Associate to join the Friede Springer Endowed Chair of Business Ethics and Management Accounting at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (Germany) in support of the Doctoral Academy "Business and Leadership Ethics."
This is a part-time (75%) position starting 01 November 2026, limited to 3 years (an extension would require additional third-party funding for the program). The position combines organizing an international training program for doctoral candidates, conducted jointly with the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics (WCGE), with the opportunity to pursue independent research in Behavioral Ethics and/or Responsible Leadership. The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for organizing four events per year: a summer school (mainly on normative business ethics), a spring school (mainly on experimental/behavioral ethics), and two writing retreats. The position is well suited for postdoctoral researchers or candidates who have already made significant progress in their PhD and can work independently.
We welcome applications from candidates with a completed university degree in a business or economics field, experience in organising academic events, project management skills, very good English proficiency, and confident use of MS Office.
