Call for papers - M-BEES & M-BEPS 2025

Dear colleagues,
We are excited to announce the 17th Maastricht Behavioral and Experimental Economics Symposium (M-BEES 2025) and the 10th Maastricht Behavioral Economic Policy Symposium (M-BEPS 2025). Both symposia will take place at Maastricht University on June 10 and 11, 2025.
We are delighted to welcome four excellent keynote speakers:
M-BEES (10 June 2025):
- Rachel Kranton (Duke University)
- Guillaume Fréchette (New York University)
M-BEPS (11 June 2025):
- Marc Gurgand (Paris School of Economics & J-PAL Europe)
- Axel Ockenfels (University of Cologne & Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods, Bonn)
As in previous years, M-BEES focuses on theory and experiments, bringing together researchers to explore if and how economic experiments can inform economic theory and vice versa. M-BEPS centers on the intersection of behavioral and experimental research with policy applications, providing a platform for academics and practitioners to examine how behavioral economics can inform decision-making in government and business.
We invite researchers to submit full research papers for presentation at M-BEES or M-BEPS. The deadline for submission is March 1, 2025, and submissions are welcome on any topic related to the themes of the respective symposia. Please note that each presenter may only submit one paper across both symposia. There is no better time to visit Maastricht than this year, as the Society for Experimental Finance (SEF) 2025 Annual Meeting will directly follow M-BEES and M-BEPS, taking place on June 12–14, 2025, at Maastricht University.
