John Kagel (1942-2026)

Dear ESA Community,

The Economic Science Association mourns the passing of Professor John Kagel on January 6^th 2026. Throughout his distinguished  career, Professor Kagel has had an enormous influence on our field. His research forms much of the foundation of behavioral and experimental economics. Our condolences go out to his family, friends, students and co-authors.
