Dear colleagues,

I am forwarding the call for papers for the annual ERINN conference, which has a single track. The submission deadline is February 1, 2026 (coming up soon!). Please see the forwarded email with the url for submissions. Please consider submitting your polished paper on the economics of identity, norms and narratives. Each paper will be reviewed by two members of the ERINN core.

CALL FOR PAPERS: 2026 ERINN ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The 2026 ERINN annual conference will be held at the University of Namur (Belgium) on June 15-16, 2026. We are issuing an open call for papers; theoretical and empirical contributions are all welcome. If you have a paper you would like to be considered for presentation, please submit it by Sunday February 1, 2026 here:
The conference program will be determined by the beginning of March.  ERINN aims to cover the travel and local expenses of one presenter per selected paper.
The ERINN Network (https://erinneconomics.com/) convenes researchers who share a common vision concerning the impact of social forces – particularly identity, norms, and narratives – in shaping economic outcomes. The basic premise is that economic activity takes place in social contexts which structure and co-determine people’s preferences, beliefs, and constraints. A goal of this network is to bring these processes to the forefront of economic analysis. We look forward to seeing you in Namur!
Instructions for Submission
To submit your paper, please take the following steps. You will need a free account with the Conference Maker service. If you do not have an account, you can sign up for an account on the website (see below).
1. Go to the ERINN2026 Conference Maker website at:
2. If you already have a Conference Maker user account, enter your username and password for this service. If you do not have a Conference Maker account or if you have forgotten your login information, look for a link at the bottom of the page that will allow you to sign up for an account and/or retrieve your existing login information.
3. Once you have logged into the Conference Maker page for the ERINN conference, you will see a toolbar labeled “Main Menu” on the left of the page. Click on “Submit a Paper” (located under the “Papers” heading).
4. Enter your paper information into the submission form, including the paper title and abstract. Submit the paper either by uploading a PDF of the document using the “Choose File” button, or entering the exact URL of an internet copy of the PDF. Please be sure to provide the exact URL of the paper itself so that the paper will be automatically uploaded into the Conference Maker system. We request that all papers be submitted in a readable PDF format if possible. The submission page provides a link to guidelines on producing readable PDFs for submission.
5. Press “submit” to submit your paper for consideration. It may take a minute for everything to upload. You should receive e-mail confirmation that your submission was successfully received.

Best,
Paola Giuliano and Robert Akerlof (on behalf of ERINN core)
