Dear all,

The ESA will continue the online job market seminar to provide candidates a chance to practice in a friendly environment and get excellent feedback from discussant, as well as letting you all scout for potential hires in experimental economics.

The organizing committee will be Laura Razzolini, Mariana Blanco, Maroš Servátka, Tracy Xiao Liu, Topi Miettinen and myself (let us know if you want to join and help). Ernesto Reuben will continue to manage the seminar website.

Based on last year’s experience, we aim to have an early seminar season to ensure discussant availability. The seminar series will run from the end of September/early October till the end of November. Sessions will be organized with two or three speakers per session. Each speaker will present for about 20 minutes and will be followed by a senior discussant.

If you are interested in presenting in the seminar series, please fill in this survey. The series is open to Ph.D. candidates and Postdocs doing research in experimental economics who are going on the job market this year. Note that presenting your job market paper is not required. If it is not quite ready, feel free to present something that you are comfortable with, just like you would if you were attending a conference this fall.
