The 17th Theoretical and Experimental Macroeconomics workshop will be held June 4-5, 2026 as part of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE) Summer Forum.
The 2026 edition of the workshop coincides with the 90th anniversary of the publication of Keynes’ General Theory of Employment, Interest, and Money. In that spirit, we especially encourage submissions that engage with themes central to Keynesian and post-Keynesian thought—such as New Keynesian models, animal spirits, macroeconomic fluctuations driven by sentiment, and the microfoundations of sticky expectations and coordination failures.
This year’s keynote speaker is Damjan Pfajfar, (Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland)
The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2026.
