Call for Papers: “The Workplace of the Future”

Dear colleagues,

 

On September 3 & 4, 2023, we will host the conference “The Workplace of the Future” at Tilburg University (see attached Call for Papers).

 

Topics include (but are not restricted to):

• Incentive structures and remuneration

• Division and organization of tasks

• Leadership and the role of managers

• Workplace design

• Agile work environments

• Effort and promotions

• Peer and gender effects, discrimination

• Skills and human capital

 

Keynote lectures will be held by Oriana Bandiera and John List. We welcome submissions using a wide range of methodologies: theoretical, empirical, employing lab or field experiments. Submissions by junior scholars are expressly encouraged.

Decision notifications will be sent, at the latest, by May 1, 2024.

 

Registration, travel & accommodation

There is no registration fee for presenters. Tilburg University will provide you with 2 (or 3 if needed) nights of accommodation and we can

reimburse economy class travel up to € 300,- (for presenters from Europe), € 500,- (for US East Coast), or € 750,- (rest of the world).
