Dear colleagues,
We have a new open PhD position at the intersections of behavioral, environmental and development economics at the Department of Spatial Economics at VU Amsterdam (supervised by me). The starting date is ideally September 2026, and the project aims to improve our understanding of how artificial intelligence can foster sustainable development, for instance in the domains of education, farming, saving/investing, entrepreneurship and health. The guiding methods include lab and field experiments, and the project offers preferential use of Liseli Decision Lab, an online and offline participant pool with thousands of participants in Zambia.
