Call for Students

We invite advanced economic students and young faculty to apply to the 16th BLESS Experimental Economics Summer School in Macroeconomics
held at BESLab-Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, from June 16-22, 2025.

This intensive summer school will expose advanced economics students (advanced masters or PhD-level) and young faculty to experimental economic methods as applied to the study of questions in macroeconomics and finance. The aim of this school is to extend the reach of experimental methods to macroeconomics and finance, where they have seen comparatively less use than in other fields of economics.  Students and junior faculty with interests in macroeconomics, finance and experimental methods are invited to apply to participate in the summer school.  Details about the summer school and the application process are available on our website

Summer school students are also invited to attend the two-day 15th annual workshop in the BSE Summer forum on the same topic, Theoretical and Experimental Macroeconomics  on June 19-20, 2025 that will also be held in Barcelona

The deadline for applications to the summer school is March 30, 2024.
