Dear ESA Colleagues

We (members of the Behavioural and Experimental Group at the School of Economics and the Behavioural Science and Policy Group at University College Dublin) invite submissions to the upcoming workshop on "Supporting a Positive Research Culture in Experimentation". The workshop is partially funded by a UCD ReCLAIM grant.

We are delighted to have Anna Dreber Almenberg, University of Stockholm as a confirmed keynote speaker.

Experimentation is a crucial tool for research and collecting causal evidence in various fields such as economics, political science, psychology, environmental science, agriculture, biology, medicine, and many others. Recent concerns about the trustworthiness and replicability of findings in various fields have highlighted that how we do experiments matters. 

A positive and reflective research culture will raise questions around the role of pre-registrationreplicationpublication biasesethicspilot experimentsincentivization in experimentsinterpretation of findingspeer review processesreacting to challenges and learning from failures

We welcome submissions of abstracts or full papers on any of the above or other relevant methodological/ metascience topics.

There is no workshop fee. We have limited funding to cover travel and accommodation for a few of the participants. Dublin is a great place to visit in June.
