Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the workshop “Decision Making and Information Processing in Complex Settings,” which will take place on April 27–28, 2026, at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (Italy).

The workshop brings together researchers working on decision making in complex and interactive environments, with a focus on theoretical, experimental, and methodological approaches to information processing, strategic thinking, and belief formation. Confirmed speakers include Carlos Alós-Ferrer, Giorgio Coricelli, Susann Fiedler, Andreas Glöckner, and Ian Krajbich.

The event is open to researchers at all career stages, and we particularly encourage PhD students and early-career researchers to apply. A poster session and a roundtable discussion with the invited speakers are planned.

Participation is free of charge, but participants should cover their own expenses. Interested participants are invited to submit an extended abstract.
The submission deadline is March 2, 2026, with notifications sent by March 16, 2026.

Further details about the workshop and the submission process are available at:
https://decisionmaking.imtlucca.it/

We would be grateful if you could circulate this announcement within your networks.

Best regards,
Sibilla Di Guida
