Hi all,
Quick one for anyone on the job market (or anyone who knows someone): we're hiring a permanent, full-time research-and-teaching position in Accounting at Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, starting September 2026, paid up to E13 TV-L.
It's officially an "Accounting" role, but I'd be genuinely thrilled to land someone working on behavioral accounting or behavioral finance — the group here is a good fit for that kind of work, and there's room to shape your own research and teaching agenda.
The basics:
- Permanent contract (yes, really — not a fixed-term postdoc)
- PhD in business, economics or a related field
- Teaching at BA and MA level, plus supervision and research
- One catch: you'll need to teach in German as well as English, so German at B2 or better is required
A few perks worth mentioning: full-time public-sector position with the usual benefits, flexible hours, home-office options, and 30 days of leave.

Heads-up: the listed deadline is 24 June 2026, but don't let that stop you — late (couple of days) applications may still be considered, so get in touch even if you're seeing this after the date.
Happy to answer any questions — and please forward to anyone who might be a fit.
Best, Philipp
