Dear colleagues,

We are excited to invite you to the 2026 Conference on Field Experiments in Strategy, taking place on July 29 - 30, 2026 at Duke University’s campus in Washington, DC.

We invite you to register and submit papers or early-stage experimental ideas via the following link: https://forms.gle/zeksbgrc6q7s4jQZ8

Submission deadline: April 1, 2026 at 9:00am ET

About the conference

The CFXS Conference - co-hosted by professors Sharique Hasan, Hyunjin Kim, Rembrand Koning, Charles Ayoubi, Amisha Miller, and the Innovation Growth Lab (IGL) team -  brings together leading scholars from around the world who use experimental methods to test cutting-edge interventions in strategic decision-making, entrepreneurship, innovation, business growth, and experimental economics.

Over two days, participants will engage in a dynamic mix of paper presentations, idea pitches, interactive discussions, and hands-on workshops - all within an informal and collaborative environment. Topics range from field experiments in SMEs, to labour market sorting, and the broader social and political impact of strategic experimentation. You can find an overview of last year’s previous conference here.

A limited number of travel bursaries will be available for PhD students from underrepresented groups, institutions, or countries who may not otherwise have access to funding to attend.

We look forward to seeing you in DC!

Sincerely,

The CFXS Team
