Hi all.
We’re inviting PhD students and early career researchers to apply to present at our Solidarity Symposia: Keeping Democracy Strong - a one-day symposium at King’s College London on 19 March 2026.
The symposium focuses on what actually works to strengthen democracy - including participation, electoral processes, disinformation and digital threats, trust in institutions, and democratic resilience. We’re especially keen on rigorous, policy-relevant research that speaks to real-world democratic challenges.
We’d love to welcome people in person in the heart of London, but online participation is also available for those who can’t travel.
Deadline extended to: 18 January
£500 Best Paper / Presentation Prize
Melbourne House, Strand Campus, London (hybrid)
