Dear Colleagues,

We would like to announce an upcoming Special Issue on “Topics in Experimental Economics” of Theory and Decision.

Please see the Call for Papers here: https://link.springer.com/collections/gegdgffaai

The submission Deadline is on 15 October 2025.

This Collection/Special Issue is aiming to advance research that employs experimental methods to address both foundational and emerging questions across the field of economics. This issue welcomes contributions across a broad spectrum of areas—including behavioral and experimental economics, decision theory, game theory, institutional and market design, neuroeconomics, and economic psychology. Submissions may be methodological, empirical, or theoretical in nature.

This special issue seeks to showcase the diversity, rigor, and relevance of experimental economics today. We invite submissions that reflect the evolving frontiers of the discipline.

We particularly encourage authors who presented at ASFEE 2025, the 15th Annual Conference of the French Association of Experimental Economics, held in Nancy, France in June 2025, to submit their papers to this Collection/Special Issue.

Papers submitted via the electronic submission system of Theory and Decision, Editorial Manager, will be sent to referees and go through the usual editorial procedure.

Please, direct your questions about the Collection/Special Issue to asfe...@sciencesconf.org.

Best regards,

Sébastien Massoni and Vincent Théroude, Guest Editors.
