Dear colleagues,

This is a friendly reminder that the submission deadline for the Sixth Workshop on Choice-Process Data is less than one week away (Monday March 16).  The workshop is the day before the 2026 World ESA conference (July 14).  Submit your abstract here:  https://uarizona.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_abkeWcbvb9mvRWK

This year''s workshop is in beautiful Marina Del Rey, just a 15-minute drive from LAX in Los Angeles.  We are excited to have four experts on choice-process data: Ming Hsu (UC Berkeley, Haas), Joseph Kable (University of Pennsylvania), Kirby Nielsen (Caltech), and Marta Serra-Garcia (UC San Diego). In addition to the fantastic lineup of speakers, we'll have a discussion on how to AI-proof your experiments.

Beyond the workshop, you can enjoy standup paddle boarding or beach volleyball at your doorstep, famous Venice beach and canals just a short walk away, and amazing food and drinks all around.

Registration is free for registered participants in the ESA Conference, and will be available through the conference registration page at a later date.

What is choice-process data? Well, choice outcomes are not the only data generated from a decision. For example, decision makers move their eyes around to collect information, take time to consider their options, and use their hands to make a selection. With recent technological and methodological advances, process measures such as response times, eye movements, and mouse movements are easily recorded. The question is: what can we learn from the data? This workshop aims to expose experimental economists and other decision scientists to exciting new research that uses process data to answer scientific questions.

This workshop is sponsored by the Caltech Chen Institute for Neuroscience and the Texas A&M Human Behavior Laboratory. It is being organized by Ian Krajbich (UCLA) and Charles Noussair (University of Arizona).  Please contact Ian (kraj...@ucla.edu) with any questions.
