Dear colleagues,

One day before the 2026 World Economic Science Association (ESA) conference in Marina Del Rey (Los Angeles), on July 14, we will be hosting the Sixth Workshop on Choice-Process Data.   Please plan to join us for what is sure to be a fun and informative day.  The workshop will take place in person at one of the conference hotels, the Jamaica Bay Inn, all day on Tuesday July 14.

We are excited to have four experts on choice-process data: Ming Hsu (UC Berkeley, Haas), Joseph Kable (University of Pennsylvania), Kirby Nielsen (Caltech), and Marta Serra-Garcia (UC San Diego).  We will also be accepting submitted talks for a single-track session.

Registration is free for registered participants in the ESA Conference, and will be available through the conference registration page at a later date.

If you would like to present in the workshop, you must submit your abstract here, by the main conference deadline (March 16).

What is choice-process data? Well, choice outcomes are not the only data generated from a decision. For example, decision makers move their eyes around to collect information, take time to consider their options, and use their hands to make a selection. With recent technological and methodological advances, process measures such as response times, eye movements, and mouse movements are easily recorded. The question is: what can we learn from the data? This workshop aims to expose experimental economists and other decision scientists to exciting new research that uses process data to answer scientific questions.

This workshop is sponsored by the Caltech Chen Institute for Neuroscience and the Texas A&M Human Behavior Laboratory. It is being organized by Ian Krajbich (UCLA) and Charles Noussair (University of Arizona).  Please contact Ian (kraj...@ucla.edu) with any questions.
