Extended deadline

The 14th International Workshop on Theoretical and Experimental Macroeconomics will be held at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from June 28-29, 2024.

The keynote speakers for the 2024 workshop are Nobuyuki Hanaki (Osaka University) and Penfei Wang (Peking University).

The goal of this workshop is to promote an active exchange and interaction of ideas and work on macroeconomic issues using behavioral, experimental, and/or theoretical approaches, and therefore we seek a good mix of theory and experimental papers. The workshop is jointly organised by NTU and the BES Lab (Behavioral and Experimental Sciences Lab at Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and is financially supported by NTU and SSHRC.  For more information please see our webpage at: https://www.upf.edu/web/beslab/workshop-2024

Researchers working on behavioral, experimental and theoretical approaches to addressing macroeconomic questions are invited to submit a paper for this two-day conference. The deadline for submissions has been extended to April 30, 2024.  Submissions should include either a full paper or an extended abstract including the main results.

To submit a paper, please send to exp.ma...@upf.edu one attached file: File should be your Paper or extended abstract in an e-mail with the following subject: EM2024_lastname_firstname. Please also fill the short application form

Authors chosen to present papers will be notified approximately in early May and the deadline for registration will be May 15, 2024.

In addition to the workshop, the organizers invite young researchers and graduate students to the Summer School on the same topic also held at the Nanyang Technological University from June 27-July 3, 2024. Summer school participants can also attend the workshop.
