Dear colleagues,
As part of my project Behavioral foundations of Technology Adoption: Bridging the Energy-Efficiency gap (BeTA-BEE) I am looking for a postdoc to join my research group at CEBI Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality. If you have a promising PhD student looking for a position within behavioral/ energy/ environmental/ or urban economics, please share the call with them.
BeTA-BEE investigates why households fail to adopt energy-efficient technologies and how they respond to environmental policy. The main selling point for the position is full access to nation-wide hourly smart meter data, extensive register data on individuals, energy certificate data of all buildings in Denmark, complete car registries, and much more (complete Dansh population of 6 million people). The data is already matched and ready to go. In addition, there is funding to conduct survey experiments and field experiments on the Danish population.
Hence, I am looking for a motivated candidate who wants to dig into the data with us (me and two PhD students who already started). The scope of the project is broad, so many ideas can be explored.
Read more about the position here: https://jobportal.ku.dk/videnskabelige-stillinger/?show=152374 . It is also advertised on econjobmarket.org. Deadline is 28th of November and interviews will happen in December in line with the econ job market.
While the funding is for two years, there might be the possibility to extend by an additional year.
I am happy to answer any questions.
Thank you for sharing!
Christina
