Subject line: Call for papers: Who's taking care? Gender inequality of paid and unpaid work hours

Dear colleagues,

We are happy to share the call for papers for the workshop: Who's taking care? Gender inequality of paid and unpaid work hours.

The workshop brings together researchers working on the intersection of gender economics, family economics, labor economics, and other related social sciences. We aim for a small-scale workshop where presenters receive high quality feedback. There is no participation fee, but participants (presenting and non-presenting) need to cover travel and accommodation costs themselves.

The workshop is on 11 and 12 November 2025 in The Hague, The Netherlands, and includes keynote lectures by Libertad González (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and Martin Eckhoff Andresen (University of Oslo).

You can submit a paper by 12 September the latest to: m.van...@leidenuniv.nl

Kind regards,

Max van Lent (Leiden University) and Robert Dur (Erasmus University Rotterdam)
