We invite graduate students, post-docs, and young faculty to the
3rd BESlab Computational and Experimental Economics Summer School to be held on June 3-9, 2024, at the Behavioral Experimental Sciences Laboratory at UPF, Barcelona, Spain.
The goal of the
summer school is to develop a foundation for using
computational models and simulations to complement and/or explain results from human subject experiments. In particular, throughout the curriculum, students will learn how to implement various agent-based and machine-learning models that successfully capture regularities observed in the
experimental and field data. As part of the summer school, participants will take part in experiments and develop an original project in groups of 3-4 members.
The
summer school will include
a two-day workshop on computational and experimental economics (June 6-7)with presentations by leading researchers who are interested in
experimental and
computational economics.
The deadline for applications has been extended to March 7th, 2024You can find how to participate
