Attention PhD-candidates & early postdocs:

After a great success last year, we’re excited to host the 2nd Freiburg PhD-Workshop on the Economics of Criminal Behavior, September 22-24, 2025, at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany).

Discuss ideas, network with leading experts, and present your research!

Experimental approaches to studying unethical and criminal behavior and decision-making are very welcome.

The application deadline is June 22, 2025.

This year, keynotes and compact courses are offered by:

  • Nadine Ketel (Amsterdam),
  • Giovanni Mastrobuoni (Turin),
  • Wladislaw Mill (Mannheim), and
  • Sven Hoeppner (Prague).

Our timing connects us smoothly to the TWEC '25 in Berlin organized by Anna Bindler & Christian Traxler (https://sites.google.com/site/oliviermarie/twec).

Hope to see you in Freiburg in September!

Best wishes,

Hannes
