Dear colleagues,

The ODD Research Group – Milan (Vita-Salute San Raffaele University), led by Prof. Carlo Martini, is looking for two postdoctoral researchers with strong backgrounds in experimental social science who are motivated to join an interdisciplinary research team bridging philosophy, behavioral science, and empirical social research.

Our group studies how individuals and communities draw boundaries between science and non-science, and how these boundaries influence the spread of misinformation and the resilience of public trust in science. In our current project, funded by the Italian Fund for Science (FIS2 Consolidator Grant), we aim to foster critical digital competencies from an early age, enabling individuals to make informed and responsible decisions regarding their health and psychological well-being.

You can learn more about our work on our platform (in Italian): https://labdisinformazione.it/

We offer a two-year position following the standard Italian salary scale for postdoctoral researchers: €34,000 gross per year, inclusive of social security and pension contributions.

Interested candidates should submit an expression of interest to oddisinf...@gmail.com including:
  • CV
  • Cover letter
  • A 1-page research proposal
  • List of publications
  • Names and contact details of two referees
For inquiries, please contact Carlo Martini at uni.c....@gmail.com or martin...@unisr.it
.
Deadline: 20 March 2026. An official call for applications will follow this expression of interest.

Please feel free to circulate this announcement within your networks or share it with colleagues who may be interested.

Thank you and best regards,

Piero Ronzani
