CEEBEX: Network for Behavioral and Experimental Economists in CEE

Dear all,

We recently started an informal network for behavioral and experimental economists based in Central and Eastern Europe, called CEEBEX. No duties, no formalities. Just a group of people who want to talk about behavioral and experimental economics. We started CEEBEX because doing behavioral and experimental economics in CEE can sometimes feel isolating: many of us are the only ones at our institution, connecting with peers usually means looking abroad, and let's face it, the field is far less popular in the region.

So far we have been meeting once a month to present work-in-progress and share experiences. Usually our meetings are structured as follows: 1) 30 minutes presentation 2) Water cooler talk (where we share some advice or experiences).

We currently have members from Ukraine, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Moldova and Lithuania. If you are a behavioral or experimental economist based in CEE and would like to join, please drop me an email (mpo...@kse.org.ua). Would be more than happy to have you onboard.
