Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the 4th Winter Workshop on “Behavioral and Experimental Economics of Food Consumption”, which will be held on January 28th – 30th 2023 in Vilard-de-Lans, the largest town in the Vercors plateau, in the French Alps.
The aim of the workshop is to unite researchers to integrate new insights from behavioral and experimental economics into the toolkit used to address food consumption issues.
The workshop welcomes two keynote talks of leading researchers in the area: Prof. Jutta Roosen (Techincal University Munich) explores how individuals make food and health-related choices, integrating behavioral economics with cognitive and cultural perspectives to gain insights into consumer behavior and decision-making. Prof. Liam Delaney (London School of Economics) specializes in behavioral public policy and investigates how psychological factors influence economic decision-making, with a focus on health, well-being, and the design of effective public policies.
Submissions in food economics based on behavioral or experimental approaches are welcome.
The call for papers is joined to this email. Submissions can be made by email before November 14th at: winterworks...@gmail.com. You can find further information on the website at: https://sites.google.com/view/winterworkshop2026/.
We are looking forward to receiving your submissions!
Best,
Sabrina and Paolo
