The Journal of Economic Psychology invites proposals for two to three Special Issues of the journal, to be published in 2026. Special issues of the journal comprehensively cover topics that are currently of particular relevance in the fields of economic psychology, behavioural economics, and judgment and decision-making, and that are insufficiently understood yet (the general scope of the journal can be found at
https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/journal-of-economic-psychology).
The proposals should contain a brief outline of the chosen topic (maximum one page) together with a list of potential authors who might be interested in contributing to the special issue, and short curricula vitae of the guest editors (maximum one page per guest editor) – all in one pdf file.
Recent special issues focused on Survey Data (current), Pro-Environmental Behavior (current), Gender Effects on Behavior (2024), and Meta-Analyses (2024).
Proposals, expressions of interest, and questions should be submitted via e-mail to the editors Yaniv Hanoch at
yaniv....@gmail.com and Carlos Alós-Ferrer at
alosf...@bluewin.ch. The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2025, but earlier submissions are encouraged. The decision of acceptance of proposals will be made by the editors of the Journal of Economic Psychology until the end of October 2025.
