Call for Papers: Special Issue in ERAE

Dear ESA community,

 

We would like to draw your attention to the special issue of the European Review of Agricultural Economics on “Shaping the Future of Behavioural and Experimental Economics in Agricultural Economics Research – Insights on Non-economic Drivers, Digitalisation and External Validity”.

 

The special issue seeks contributions that advance our understanding of decision-making by farmers, consumers, and other stakeholders, with particular emphasis on the psychological drivers of decision-making in agri-food systems, the integration of AI into decision-making and experimental research, and the external validity and scalability of experimental insights. Submissions are accepted exclusively in the form of Registered Reports. In addition, there is the possibility of funding support for one accepted study led by a PhD student, early-career researcher, or researcher based in the Global South.

 

The deadline for Stage 1 submissions of the Registered Reports is August 31, 2026.

 

We will host a webinar to answer open question on April 9, 2026.
