The University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway, is currently advertising two PhD fellowship positions in Economics and Finance:

The call is open to strong candidates from all fields. That said, many researchers in our department work in experimental economics and experimental finance, and we particularly encourage applications from students with interests in these areas.

If you know a talented student who may be a good fit, we would be very grateful if you could share this opportunity with them.

Stavanger is a very nice and safe city on Norway’s west coast, with an active and collegial academic environment. The department has a strong research culture, and colleagues also enjoy spending time together outside office hours. In addition, Stavanger is known for having by far the best weather in Norway.
