Call for Papers — LACEA-BRAIN Conference 2026 in Barbados

Dear ESA community,

We hope this message finds you well. We just wanted to share a brief reminder that the deadline to submit papers to the 8th Conference of the LACEA Behavioral Insights Network (LACEA-BRAIN) — the behavioral science network of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA) — is coming up soon: January 15, 2026.

The conference will take place on May 21–22, 2026, at the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill Campus), Barbados, as part of the 2026 RIDGE May Forum. We welcome submissions that advance behavioral science in economics and the social sciences, including work on field and lab experiments, theory, methods, meta-analyses, and critical reviews.

🌎 Location: Barbados

This year, we are especially pleased to be able to offer partial financial support for junior scholars, with the aim of lowering participation barriers and broadening representation in the conference.

If you or your students have work that fits the scope, we warmly encourage you to consider submitting. We would also be grateful if you could help circulate this reminder within your networks.
