Dear Colleague,
We know this is an exceptionally busy time, so we’ll keep this brief.
We (researchers at the University of Barcelona, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and ESADE) are running a survey of economists to better understand views on the ethics of experimental methods in economics. Our aim is to document current practices, concerns, and norms, and to identify priorities for future guidance and research.
What: One survey of about 10 minutes.
Why: The findings will be shared in aggregate form with the main professional associations in economics and will help shape an actual research project.
Benefit: By participating, you will have the opportunity to shape how the profession thinks about ethical standards in experimental research and to influence future discussions and policies.
Your participation is entirely voluntary and your responses will remain confidential; only aggregate results will be reported. The Economic Science Association has authorized us to contact you. You might have received a similar email from other channels. We apologize for the cross-posting.
Short on time? Every response helps, and you can return later to finish.
Thank you for helping us understand the ethical views and priorities of economists working with experimental methods.
Warm regards,
The Research Team
