[OT] Por la libertad de expresión

Como seguramente ya sabrás las news españolas están en una etapa de profunda renovación, sin duda para peor.
Este medio de comunicación está en peligro de desaparición por la escasez de miras de sus autoproclamados
gestores que nunca han hecho nada por ellas y que cuando se ponen a hacer algo lo único que se les ocurre hacer
es eliminar los grupos de binarios.
Para aquellos que no lo sepáis, un grupo de binarios es el específico donde se envían de forma natural los mensajes
cuyo contenido no es puramente texto y sirve precisamente para dar soporte al propio grupo de texto.
Cuando quise vender mi moto, además del aviso en el grupo de compraventa respectivo puse una imagen de mi flamante
lobito en el grupo esp.binarios.misc para que los interesados la vieran, y la vendí. Cuando quise compartir con la
peña mis estupendas fotos polaroid del pasado eclipse lunar, las subí al mismo grupo anterior y después de avisarlo
en el grupo de ciencia en el que me muevo, los amigos tuvieron la oportunidad de verlas y disfrutar de ellas.
Gracias a la presión de quien nos suponemos, el comité (anti)regulador de las news españolas (CORUS) ha decidido
que sobran esos grupos, por lo que desde el pasado uno de marzo sobrevivimos gracias a la generosidad de los servidores
que, de momento, hacen caso omiso del borrado de esos grupos y, sobre todo, a la presión de los usuarios que estamos
montando un auténtico debate en el grupo es.news.admin donde se han escrito más mensajes en estos últimos días que
en los 30 años de historia de la USENET española.
Si lees este mensaje de petición de ayuda, te rogaría, con todo el respeto, que te pasaras por el grupo es.news.admin y
dieras tu opinión (educada), sea cual sea la misma, fundamentalmente para mostrarle al CORUS que la
dictadura acabó ya hace 30 años y que ya va siendo hora de renovar unas estructuras arcaicas, dictatoriales y que
prescinden de la opinión de los administrados.
Verás en el grupo distinta fauna (con perdón). Los representantes del CORUS por una parte, funcionarios casi todos
ellos, en actitud chulesca y prepotente del "porque yo lo valgo". Hay por otra parte, usuarios ya clásicos de las news
que casi llegan a reptar por el suelo tratando de razonar con los anteriores. Está también la omnipresente fauna de
Linux que detestan todo lo que huela a Windows y odian los grupos de binarios porque, en la Arcadia feliz en la que
se imaginan vivir todos vestidos de florecitas lilas, no cabe disfrutar de otras materialidades que la vida contemplativa
que propugnan. También hay algún conocodo tocapelotas pero bueno, te ruego que entres con respeto y salgas con
educación en el grupo es.news.admin porque lo que se está dilucidando es muy muy serio y nos llega al alma de los
que usamos las news desde que fluía por servidores y estaciones de trabajo unicamente.
Se que este mensaje se envía haciendo uso de uno de tantos programa de spam (newsadmin) por lo que en principio es una
herejía, pero quiere llegar a todos los grupos españoles. Soy consciente que molesta su envío, pero a mi también me joroba
como usuario cada vez que el metro va a la huelga pero es su sacrosante derecho. Es el derecho a la libre expresión y a la
manifestación pacífica y ordenada. En este caso está en juego algo más importante que el trabajo, está en juego nuestra
libertad, que pretende ser cercenada por los de siempre.
Hay filtros y programas en marcha puestos para evitar este mensaje, lo que atenta contra la libertad de expresión, por eso
debo incluir a continuación un párrafo en inglés diferente para cada mensaje, para diferenciar unos mensajes de otros y
evitar en lo posible ese filtado y facilitar su difusión.

Pongo este nick para evitar filtrados y dificultar cancelaciones de este mensaje. Yo soy sencillamente un miembro de
la comunidad newsera que demanda que no lesionen los intereses de los newseros, o que al menos se consulte con los
usuarios la pertinencia de una medida tan impopular.
Enviaré el mensaje cuantas veces haga falta como medida de protesta ante esta monumental arbitrariedad hasta que el
CORUS desista de la idea de la cancelación de los grupos de binarios y de marcha atrás en su decisión.
