The successful candidate will be responsible for the global operations
of the Customer Care function. The role will be responsible for
customer care operations based on three continents.
The Customer Care Director's prime objectives are to understand the
business requirements, translate these into customer care targets, and
ensure that these targets are met. The director will have a flair for
understanding complex software solutions, developing support and
escalation processes to provide the correct level of customer care, and
motivating a customer care team to deliver.
Requirements:
Rapid learner capable of grasping complex issues quickly.
Must successfully complete the Call Centre Management Certification
course within six months of accepting the position.
An aptitude to handle change in a fast paced dynamic environment.
An ability to motivate and coach staff and manage client expectations.
Superior ability to build relationships and promote an environment
focused on team development and continuous improvement.
An ability to take ownership of timelines and do the appropriate
follow-ups.
Lead by example when speaking to internal and external customers.
Proven customer service skills.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
An ability to enhance consistency/communication within a centre of
different targets/processes.
Thorough understanding of reporting, trend analysis and project
management.
Able to pinpoint product issues and feedback to the product development
team in a positive manner.
Manage and prioritize product issues and participate in the ongoing
development of the product.
Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
Attributes:
Post-secondary education.
Minimum 7 years experience in a customer service environment.
Minimum 2 years experience in a Internet B2C organization.
Flexible and positive attitude.
Self starter able to work with little day to day interaction with
senior management.
