@Algonquin Hood this is such a game changer. I can feel the speed and the power that this vehicle has. Do you have discord? I've got some really good suggestions you might like. Also, how do I join your 5M server
@ChitoCons Mainly the facelifted Hellcat Challenger, but with the right parts it can resemble a base SXT model aswell. I didn't include different motor options, as changing car sound bound to modkit is impossible.
@GameBreaker2004 My discord ID can be found inside readme file.
@gentlejoey123458 I remember somebody already made one, maybe look around in VanillaWorks Discord
@JAM102970 I didn't include a "replace" version because Add-On cars are common practice nowadays. You can replace it with any vehicle, it's just a matter of converting the Add-On to replace something correctly. If you don't know how to do it, this thread should help you out: -mods.com/topic/24150/can-you-turn-a-add-on-car-into-a-replacement/2
@Los_santos_Customs As far as name goes, the Add-On is missing localization, IMO not worth doing.
As far as missing customization options, here is a solution I posted on another one of my mods:
This is a issue in your meta files, more specifically the modkit ID that I used for my Gauntlet is being used by one of your add-on cars already.
Here's something you can try out: inside carvariations.meta, find 707_gauntletstx_modkit and change the number "707" to a number that is not used yet. Same in carcols.meta: 707_gauntletstx_modkit
Change those, just make sure all three numbers are the same. Let me know if it works out
So I had -mods.com/vehicles/bravado-gauntlet-s installed with this mod and I did not have all the LSC tuning options. I guessed that it might be that mod causing the conflict with modkit ID and was right. It would be nice to ideally be able to have both work fine without manual edits to any files.
Vice Cry: Remastered brings Vice City into the modern era with a complete remaster of the Vice City map from Lunchxbles. Take this remaster mod a step further Tommy Vercetti with a separate mod to take a step back into the neon dashed waterfront that captures 80s Florida so well.
While GTA 5 Redux beautifully upgrades the streets of Los Santos with new weather, skies, and many lush 4K textures, this mod is more than just a visual overhaul. GTA 5 Redux also includes tweaks to vehicle handling, a reconfigured police system, and an improved weapon feel to make the gameplay feel more refined after all these years.
Technically a cheat more than a mod, Native Trainer delves deep into the source code of GTA 5 to allow you to turn on and off various exciting settings. Fancy enjoying a little low gravity? Turn it on from an in-game menu and easily bunny-hop down the Vinewood hills with little danger to your health. You can also swap out character models and become a cat for the day. Native Trainer comes lumped in with most Script Hook V downloads, so chances are you already have the file.
Inspired by the best battle royale games, the Complex Control mod overhauls GTA 5 gameplay by putting you in the shoes of a procedurally generated avatar equipped with several special abilities who must battle against NPCs in an ever-shrinking map. By also incorporating rogue-lite elements to keep things interesting, Complex Control is an incredibly fun and challenging addition to the game.
All aboard! The GTA 5 enhanced train driver mod allows you to hop inside the cabin and take control of the infamous GTA 5 train. Speed up, slow down. Stop. Go. All of the main train driving options are available to you.
The goal for NaturalVision Remastered (or NVR for short) is to make GTA 5 look visually similar to Southern California. The mod creators have carried out extensive research on both Los Santos and Los Angeles, spending more than 4,000 hours so far on the mod.
Not strictly a custom GTA 5 mod, SweetFX is a graphics post-processing injector that adds various fancy visual effects to games. It can be used on pretty much anything, but tests on GTA 5 reveal that it runs pretty much perfectly. The enhanced look removes the washed-out feel the game can sometimes have, providing bolder and deeper colors.
Everyone else is making zombie games, so why not GTA? The GTA Zombies mod allows you to fill the streets of Los Santos with crowds of the walking dead for round-based survival. Fend off each successive wave of corpses for bigger and better rewards.
Sick of having to track down one of those pesky jets or helicopters to take to the skies? The Nice Fly mod allows you to take off anywhere, equipping you with a parachute for when you want to land back on solid ground.
Television, that antiquated thing where you passively observe other people doing things, has made so much money from people falling over. Bring the hilarity of candid camera to GTA 5 with the Ragdoll on Demand mod, giving you the ability to trigger the feature whenever you want. It even works in cutscenes, meaning you can add a touch of fun to even the most serious gangster business talks.
As with any online game, activating mods comes with a risk. Rockstar has stated that PC single-player mods are allowed, and the company has an agreement with Take-Two Interactive not to take legal action against anyone using mods that are strictly single-player, non-commercial, and respect the intellectual property rights of third parties.
Script Hook V is a key tool for GTA 5 modding. It enables the installation of various mods and scripts. Download the files, extract them, and copy the necessary components to the GTA 5 directory for enhanced mod functionality.
Consider using a Mod Manager, such as GTAV Mod Manager, to streamline the modding process. Mod Managers simplify installation, configuration, and removal of mods, preventing conflicts and ensuring a smooth gaming experience with customized key mappings.
If you're new to modding GTA 5, don't sweat it. We've added a couple of sections to show you exactly how to do that, as well as given you some helpful tips for installing the necessary plugins or script mods that some of the larger community-made creations might rely on. There are plenty of options to choose from, but we've picked out our 18 favorites to get you started. If it's GTA Online tips you're after, we have some dedicated advice to get you off to a flying start there, too. For now, let's check out these mega GTA 5 mods and how they can give your city a facelift after all these years.
If you're playing GTA 5 on PC and browsing this list but have never installed mods before, you're probably wondering where to start and how to install GTA 5 mods on PC in the first place. When you've downloaded some mods, refer back to this step-by-step guide to install them.
Unfortunately, installing GTA 5 mods on PC isn't as simple as copy and pasting the downloaded files across. There are two tools you need to download first: Script Hook V and GTAV LUA Plugin. We'll start with Script Hook V.
This mod lets you play as almost any NPC in the game. Not only can you pick and choose from almost the entire game's cast - around 500 characters - you can customise and change around 350 of them, flipping between body parts, accessories and more.
While you can rob stores with ease, you can't actually burgle someone's house in GTA 5. Until now. The Home Invasion mod allows you to enter certain houses either stealthily or guns blazing, then rob the inhabitants at gunpoint. Some homeowners will fight back and there are seven different house types, including mansions.
Los Santos is wonderful, and while some areas are visibly inspired by real-world locations, there's no avoiding the fact it is an entirely fictional city. The Real California Architecture mod is an add-on that aims to change that, with countless real-world inclusions like the Hollywood Sign, Hollywood Wax Museum, Compton City Hall, two In-N-Out locations, the Beverly Hills Hotel, and more.
