Hello,
We are in the midst of testing our connections with the eRx testing tool and while our outbound traffic is reaching the tool successfully we are having issues receiving messages sent from the test tool back into our system. We believe it may be just a firewall issue so are hoping you can help confirm the IP address that messages sent from the testing tool to systems under test (SUT) would be coming from. The FAQs documentation published in the tool says that the IP is 52.229.26.249 but we are not seeing traffic coming from that endpoint. Can you verify that IP address is still correct?
Thank you,

Hello Greg Thole,
Thank you for reaching out. The IP address currently listed in the FAQ is outdated. Please use the following IP address for your firewall configuration:
52.5.140.139
All messages sent from the eRx Testing Tool to your system will originate from this IP. Kindly update your firewall settings accordingly and let us know if you continue to face any issues.
Thank you,

Hello,
We have run into an issue and we believe the root cause is that the tool’s assigned password for my account (greg_cerner) is too long which is causing the URL that gets produced to violate max character length in our code. Is it possible to shorten that password to resolve that problem? Maybe cutting it in half or something? TIA!

Ok, appreciate the quick response once again. We will figure out how to work around it on our end.
If anything else comes up I will reach back out. Out of curiosity, is email the best way to reach you when/if we have urgent issues or would you suggest another method?
Hello Greg Thole,
Thank you for the update. Yes, email is the best way to reach us for urgent issues. Using this email or the Google Group works the same, and either method will ensure your message gets to the right team promptly.
Great, thank you very much!
