If you forgot your Wi-Fi network password, you can find it if you have another Windows PC already connected to your Wi-Fi network. After you find your password, you can use it on another PC or device to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

On another Windows PC or other device, connect to Wi-Fi as you normally would, and enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted. For more info about connecting to Wi-Fi, see Connect to a Wi-Fi network in Windows.

If you forgot your Wi-Fi network password, you can find it if you have another Windows PC already connected to your Wi-Fi network. After you find your password, you can use it on another PC or device to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Here's how

I appear to have installed my wifi range extender successfully using WPS setup. I have steady green light on router link LED, also extender is listed as being connected in the routers list of connected devices, but when I try to connect any devices to the wifi extender it will not accept the password for my router.

I'm afraid if you are trying a wrong password. Please check the password from your Technicolor gateway and try the correct password. Hope, the below links can help you if you have a computer connected wireless to your Technicolor gateway.

I had already done a factory reset on my router and then reconnected all my devices to my router after first instructing them to "forget this router" before I posted my question, this can only confirm that the password is correct. The only time my password doesn't work is when I attempt to connect to my wifi extender.

When I change a WiFi password in Insight then click "Save", the change applies to the connected APs (WAX615 and WAX625 in my case), but the password in Insight still displays as the default location password when going back into the WiFi/Wireless Network settings.

The issue has been occurring for me prior to the latest firmware updates to the WAX615 and WAX625, and happened with Insight 6.8 as I recall. The issue only happens on the web GUI of Insight, the Insight iOS app correctly identifies the WiFi password.

Never mind, this is likely a browser cookie issue. I just signed into Insight in a New Incognito Window, and the WiFi password matches the clients. Whereas the password shown in my main Chrome window is stuck on the location WiFi password. The LastPass extension may also be interfering because the show password eye icon and LastPass autofill icon are practically on top of each other and I will often click one over the other.

Hi, I've had an issue for some time where I can't change the password saved in the printer for my network. I've been using it wired due to this issue. When I try to connect to wireless lan it says password incorrect. I have tried the Reset LAN settings option but it doesn't remove the saved networks and I must change my router ssid to make it work. Very bummed out by the plethora of issues I have with every printer I buy. If only it would ask for the friggin password.

7. Press OK to access the on screen keyboard and enter in your wireless network password. Please note that this password is case sensitive and if it is entered incorrectly, your PIXMA MX922 will not connect to your network. To switch between upper case letters, lower case letters and special characters, please use the middle function button below the LCD of your PIXMA MX922.

I changed my WiFi password (same network name, updated password) and now the printer will not give me an option to enter the password. It recognizes my network and we click our network to connect and it does NOT Prompt us for the Wi-Fi Password so we cannot udpate it. It's only recognizing the OLD Password. How do we UPDATE the network with our NEW Password, so we can connect our printer. I am not getting the option to CHANGE/Update the password! We have a CANON Pixma MX7520. Please advise! I am pulling my hair out I am so frustrated! Thank you!!!!

My printer skips step 7. I can go back to my old wifi and it goes to step 7. On my new wifi it does not give you the option to change the password -- no keyboard appears in the setup sequence. I get an error screen telling me it failed to connect.
There is no WPS button on the wifi.

I have done all these steps. I have also done a "reset of my LAN" and then went to reset the wireless, it saw my access point (SSID) but when i clicked on it, it never prompted me to enter the passphrase. whatever password it thought it had (in my case, there was no WPS button on my router) and i have to apparently, enter my pwd in manually, but no matter which path i take the printer seems to think it knows or not, the passphrase. I read one discussion that i needed to "disable" wifi. I assumed that is what the reset did. However, i am never prompted for a passphrase, but rather a failed attempt at connecting

I'm having the same issue, though my password hasn't changed. Once I select the access point and hit "ok", I get an error message and #2 on the list is to make sure the password is correct. All of the Canon videos say to enter the password. Hard to do that when you don't get the screen to do so. If you figure it out on your own or elsewhere, please update your post so I can do the same thing.

We have a meraci wifi solution at a number of our companies offices and the wifi password is changed monthly for security reason's. Is there any way to configure meraci to auto-distribute/email the New Password to end users every month?

While I don't condone sending passwords via plain-text in an email, I'll assume there are valid business reasons for doing it this way versus using RADIUS or another method. I do not believe there is anything available to do what you're asking via the dashboard alerts. My suggestion would be to utilize the API to update the password and send an email out to a distribution group within that same script. The specific API call can be found here. The parameter you're looking for is the 'psk' one.

Depending on the time of day the password is changed, you may want your script/job to send out the email prior to changing the password, otherwise your Service Desk may get swamped with calls of computers dropping off the network with no way to get back on.

This practice is now deprecated as it creates more problems than it solves. Your system should be adjusted so that passwords no longer need to be continuously changed. Of course, the post-it notes supplier will notice a reduction in business.

Lastly, if you really want to use a PSK, consider getting Systems Manager. This allows you to use the WiFi settings, including the password, to machines without having to contact everyone. Of course, they do need to be able to connect to the Internet once to get their profile update after you change the password.

Changed my wifi password and cannot get cameras to sync? I powered and restart and nothing? Reset the net gear modem and nothing? Help down on button till flashes blue and scan QR Code and hear the tone and then searches for camera and always end up with camera won't connect? Help

Also, are you trying to onboard the camera with the Arlo App, or are you using a PC (browsing to my.arlo.com). Either way, did you select the correct camera? Selecting Essential won't work if you have the Essential Spotlight.

If you created a second account, and then moved the camera into it, then you almost certainly lost the trial subscription. That would result in no recording. Unfortunately, I think onboarding back into the original account won't fix that - once the trial is gone, there is no way to get it back.

For personalized support specific to the Arlo products you own, access Support from within the Arlo iOS or Android App. Simply login to your Arlo App, go to Settings, Support, then select the Arlo product you would like support for.

I live in a Lennar smart home since 2019. I seen to remember setting the WiFi password, but forgot how to do it. I need to change the WiFi access password. Is that done through the R510 AP? I don't have the login credentials for that!

I also forgot and lost my Wifi password, but finally I use a nice and pwerful tool, SmartKey WiFi Password Recovery. It works for me and I use it to recover my wireless password successfully. You can try it.

If you have it saved on a Windows 7 computer, you can see it by right-clicking on the wireless network from the Available Networks list and choosing Properties. From there go to the Security tab and check the box to reveal the password.
