Suddenly, incoming callers do not hear a ringtone on their end anymore. Nevertheless, calls can be completed without further issues - just the calling party has the impression that nothing happes during the silence until we do pick up. Generally, my setup is working for years without such issues.
Does anyone have any further hints on how that may come about? I did try other nat settings but with no success, i.e., my ringtone packets to seem to get dropped in the critical case regardless of what I did so far.
In my examples, the call is never completed, just ringing and than hanging up. In all scenarios, completing the call does work without any issues whatsoever. The problem is just, that the calling party may not hear a ringtone presumably after a recent modification on the side of the carrier.
Earlier this year, I started getting audible notifications that my Google-voice activated phone (via Sprint) was receiving a call. Most of the time I get the notification before the phone actually rings. The ringtone is a bit annoying. Well, my wife has the same setup and somehow she has a different (less annoying) ringtone, so I'm wondering if Google just randomly picks something or what? We both have Google Apps accounts, so there's no difference there. Any ideas?

The mobile phone has only one speaker for ringtone, so mono.
Additionally I can assume the speaker is not the best, so the equalizer.
Sometimes the music is faint so I add a gain. Then I choose the gain which sounds best.

If I remember correctly, for Holloween they did custome auto responses but not the ringtones.

Our team is a month in to using Zen Voice. We would love to be able to change the ringtone for incoming calls. Our reps have nightmares of the default ringtone after work away from the phones. A choice of ringtones or being able to upload our own ringtones would be fantastic.
+9000 for basic customization options for calls. Volume control would be great so that when I'm enjoying the daily grind and listening to "Today" by The Smashing Pumpkins via Spotify and I'm tip-tap-typing away at some customer emails I don't immediately receive a full-body wave of depression as that intrusive, painful ringtone blasts into my skull. B'great.

The Agents in our organization would LOVE this option. I've personally answered over 25,230 zendesk voice calls over the last 4-5 years since ZenDesk introduced the Voice/Talk feature.
I can't exaggerate how many times my imagination has tried to convince me that I'm hearing the inbound ringtone in the back of my mind, even when it's outside of business hours! lol... I'm ashamed to admit that I've even heard it in my dreams. In MY DREAMS, ZenDesk! PLEASE, let us change it up, even if it was just a few alternate notification sounds, we could at the VERY LEAST, change it to hear something different for once.
Honestly, I have no hope that this will ever be updated since it has been over 5 years since this was posted... But just putting it out there that many of us are still waiting for this and would love to see this very simple feature (changing the ringtone) implemented.
We have a user that has changed the ringtone for all options. His 2 direct lines, his ext, and his meeting. When he is called through a call queue that is he part of it outputs the "default" ringtone instead of the selected one. Is this some setting on the call queue I do not see?
Sorry, perhaps I was unclear. This is happening to a user. He changed all of his ringtones to specific ones that are NOT the default ringtone. When I call a call queue he is a member of. The default ring tone is output. We do not want this to happen, but it is happening.
Perhaps I don't understand! Normally, the default ringtone will be played on all phones in a Call Queue and cannot be changed in the Zoom web portal or the Zoom desktop app (with the exception a couple of physical desktop phones with the Zoom Phone Appliance app). What would you like to happen?
I would like for every phone call that comes to this user to use the "awaken" ring tone. We have changed the ringtones to all of his options (meetings, extension, and Direct number) to the "awaken" ringtone.
Thank you... I had understood what you wanted. Unfortunately, as I said in my first reply, there isn't an option to change the ringtone for a Call Queue in general, nor for when a specific user receives a call from the Call Queue.
From my understanding it should be in the client since 5.10.6.
And yes, the CQ does need a DID.
Just tested, if there`s no DID configured for the CQ you cant configure a specific ringtone for a CQ in the Zoom desktop client.
Ringtone ID automatically composes a ringtone by the telephone number, so that you can recognize the caller just with the sound. The ringtone is automatically composed in real time through 'harmony and chord running' algorithm using the caller's phone number.
Tap Compose ringtones for and select from Everyone, Contacts, or Favorites. Ringtones will be composed automatically from their phone number.

Is it possible to set a ringtone as a text tone in iOS 17? Bought a new text tone to set for one of my friends. It is categorioed as a ringtone though, so can't seem to set it as a text tone. Anyone know how to make it work?

To add these ringtone files to your iPhone: Download the .m4r files to your desktop. Then, connect your device to your computer using a lightning-to-USB cable. Research on the effects of Mobile phone radio frequency emissions on biological systems has been focused on noise and vibrations as auditory stressors. This study investigated the potential effects of exposure to mobile phone electromagnetic field radiation, ringtone and vibration on anxiety-like behaviour and oxidative stress biomarkers in albino wistar rats. Twenty five male wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups of 5 animals each: group I: exposed to mobile phone in switched off mode (control), group II: exposed to mobile phone in silent mode, group III: exposed to mobile phone in vibration mode, group IV: exposed to mobile phone in ringtone mode, group V: exposed to mobile phone in vibration and ringtone mode. The animals in group II to V were exposed to 10 min call (30 missed calls for 20 s each) per day for 4 weeks. Neurobehavioural studies for assessing anxiety were carried out 24 h after the last exposure and the animals were sacrificed. Brain samples were collected for biochemical evaluation immediately. Results obtained showed a significant decrease (P < 0.05) in open arm duration in all the experimental groups when compared to the control. A significant decrease (P < 0.05) was also observed in catalase activity in group IV and V when compared to the control. In conclusion, the results of the present study indicates that 4 weeks exposure to electromagnetic radiation, vibration, ringtone or both produced a significant effect on anxiety-like behavior and oxidative stress in young wistar rats.

One Sim for calls (other Sim data) over made a specific group bit i cant seem to find a menu where i can select an alternative ringtone for that group. Over tried with an alternative contacts app but the main conflguration seems to be dominant.
A ringtone could be assigned to a specific inbound number. For example, if a boss or a high priority customer calls having the ability to assign a unique ringtone to their number would be very helpful.
