Recently picked up Beat Coin to watch after becoming affectionate with Joo Woo Jae and I must say, it surprised me a lot. I think it flew off the radar of most people I think 'cause KBS gave it a weird time slot and don't seem to be expecting much from it even if they are still going and at 50 episodes mark now. I guess they're trying to bring some youtube watchers into TV but idk really what's the deal.
First episodes are a bit weird, they rely too much on Sook but they easily create a bond and their dynamic is very good. I'm not a huge fan of Jo Seho's humour but he works so well in this show. If i'm not mistaken, they said in an episode that they're the same team behind Sister's Slam Dunk so that's also interesting. They also have a lot of high profile guests like Jimin, Taeyang, Cha TaeHyun, Twice, etc.
All of the episodes (except 13 for some reason) are subbed on Kocowa so it's easy to pick up for a try if you're looking for some recs. If you like audience+live music type of variety (something a bit Kim Taeho-esque) I'd reccomend episode 12 where they go to a University and they have to gather some students to perform in a festival and also Episode 18 and 19 where JYP joins and brings his band to a school in a far city and then to a proposal of an actor to his wife (this one is very funny cause it's a candid camera and it goes very wrong). But there's tons of different stuff every episode so it's easy to be entertained. Very fun show.

Beat Coin is a South Korean television program that airs on KBS2 on Thursdays at 20:30 (KST). These rewards are important to game feel (eg. the "+100" points text or shower of coins flying out of a destroyed target), and to learning game systems. They tell the player what actions in the game are valued and useful. They're not so strong at creating sustained engagement though. Once the player learns that they can reliably get X points per second from a swath of different actions in your game, it's no longer a surprise or a reason to strive to complete this particular action. It's expected, and fades into the background of play.
This show successfully captured the youth audience, with its campy style, upbeat theme music, and tongue-in-cheek humor. Despite the fact that it verged on being a sitcom, the producers wisely left out the laugh track, reinforcing the seriousness with which the characters seemed to take the often absurd and wildly improbable situations in which they found themselves. The filming simulated a surreal comic-book quality, with characters and situations shot at high and low angles, with bright splashy colors and with sound effects, like Pow, Bam, and Zonk, appearing as words splashed across the action sequences on screen. The series was also replete with numerous gadgets and over-the-top props, with the Batmobile undoubtedly most memorable. Batman ran until March 1968, experiencing a significant ratings drop after its initial novelty faded.
