Season one was rather short and no further news on season two so far. Most likely, it's waiting for the manga to catch up with enough material for the second season. While the anime adaptation was decent enough, but after reading a few chapters of the manga, I will recommend the latter. If you pay close attention, you'll notice several subtle differences between the manga and anime adaptation.
