Pretty sure this has been covered before. You "can" do it but it takes a bit of screwing around, but you "can't" do it because the ABC do not allow it. The content in iView is only to be streamed and not downloaded. Previous threads on this topic have been deleted as I recall.
I think you will find that most imported content (not just the BBC stuff) is off-limits, along with most movies. The ABC also has few if any movies available even on Iview, compared to SBS OnDemand which usually has some.
