Hi Everybody,
I was wondering if it would be possible or even practical for the WGT game viewer/client to be offered as a download that could be used in offline mode.Even if it were for non ranked rounds only.I ask as I will be away travelling to some remote locations where mobile internet signal is either very slow or does not exist and rather costly if it does...At the time of writing this,I went to post and WGT was in downtime(irony) so I can also see another advantage of having access to the game if stored on your own PC.Anyway, just thoughts..I am interested to know if anyone else thinks that this may me useful,

My apologies if this topic has already been covered,I searched and found zip : )
The basic answer is that the WGT business model is based on a strong commitment to the cloud computing concept, with small continuing fees charged for players who want to play the game at a competitive level (even though technically speaking you can play the game for free). The game is thus web-based and everything is on their servers. Besides the business aspects, the amount of information for any course, with photo-based high definition, is vast, so probably the offline mode is not feasible anyway.
You can play offline by going to the Community page and clicking Steam on the upper left, then choose "Go Offline". Steam will restart. After it does go to JNPG (I use my icon in the System Tray) and click it. When the game opens choose to play Solo. You'll have access to all the courses but you are not logged into Steam to be able to play any tournaments or Multiplayer rounds.
This means that, for an isolated path change of just 1 degree, the ball went 9 yards offline (10 yards of curve minus the 1 yard starting in the opposing direction).
Also, changing the clubface can have a much more significant effect when it comes to fixing an offline shot. Controlling the face is probably the key skill when it comes to achieving better results.
For those who use GSPro I've searched far and wide but can't find an answer.. Can you download courses and play them completely offline? My detached garage doesn't have internet connection and am hoping its as simple as downloading courses which sounds like it may be the case.
The BirdieApps Golf GPS App works in Offline Mode, meaning once a course is downloaded to the App, you can go to the most remote golf courses in the world, where no internet or cell phone services are available, and still use the Golf GPS App! Even in Offline Mode, the App remains 100% functional.
Yep, this works too, as long as you have the model that has GPS capability, you simply download the course while at home, and then take the iPad with you to the golf course. Because our App works without an internet connection or cell phone service, your GPS enabled iPad (or any other tablet) will run just fine in Offline Mode.

We are all capable of hitting amazing golf shots, yet it is those mind-numbingly bad shots that ruin our day and erode any measure of confidence that we may have been hanging on to. The question we all would like to know the answer to is - why? Why was that shot so far offline when I've been hitting the ball straight just about all day? What is the primary cause of my inaccuracy?
My experience is that most golfers tend to look in the same place to find answers to their problems. Just like husbands tell their wives on every bad shot she might hit - "You lifted up!" Well, so to do we tend look towards the same area as a cause for our bad shots. Talking with my students it appears that far too many golfers are of the belief that bad shots are caused by a swing that was suddenly over the top or under plane - in other words the clubpath was different and that's what led to the offline shot. This is even a favorite for the golf commentators on Sunday afternoons - if a golfer hits a shot left coming down the stretch you are very likely to hear Nick or Johnny chime in with, "Well, he came over that one..."
Golfers tend to be fairly consistent with their clubpath. Keep in mind that this is a general statement and not all golfers are consistent, but my experience has shown that golfers that work at their game tend to have a good measure of consistency when it comes to the direction their clubhead is travelling at impact - clubpath. It may not be an ideal path or what they are looking for, but consistent it is!
We have had questions on whether the 18Birdies app can be used when there is no internet or cellular connection available. The 18Birdies app does require a stable network connection to use all of the features, though there are some steps you can take before you head to the golf course that will allow you to use many functions of the app while offline.
Our offline hours feature allows the user's FSX 2018 online license to activate for up to 30 days without an internet connection. Each time the user launches their online version of FSX 2018, the softwares validates via the user's internet connection. Offline hours mode removes this functionality, allowing the user to use their online license without an internet connection.
Everybody's Golf will soon be downgraded to Everybody's Golf As Long As They're All In the Same Room, following Sony announcement it'll be ending the PlayStation 4 game's multiplayer support and taking its servers offline from September this year.
More specifically, the Everybody's Golf servers will go permanently offline from 30th September 2022, meaning all online multiplayer modes and other online features - including the likes of leaderboards and certain trophies - will cease to be available from that point on.
All is not entirely lost, however; players with an iOS device and an Apple Arcade subscription can get their fill of similar styled, jovially presented online golfing action via Clap Hanz Golf, a portable spin on the Everybody's Golf formula from the same development studio.
The course will now be saved in the Connect app, and is ready to sync to the watch when you are at the course. See the steps for adding golf courses to the watch for steps on transferring the course from the Garmin Connect app to your watch.
The device will now show the 5 closest courses based on your watch's GPS location. Select the course to be played, and the full course will be downloaded. The most recently played golf course will remain cached on the device once it is downloaded, and can be accessed without the need for a Bluetooth connection.
The OFFLINE SCHEDULING feature in the NODE-BT app allows you to view previously connected controller irrigation schedules and the ability to make full program changes away from the controller location. When you return to the site, connect to your controller and easily deploy pre-saved schedule changes for ultimate convenience. When the controller's in offline mode, you are able to change the program Start Times, Water Days, and station Run Times, as well as Global or Monthly Seasonal Adjust.
Nothing comes quite as close to replicating the competitive thrill of the golf course as experiencing multiplayer modes on our PGA games. No matter if your console of choice is an Xbox Series SX, PlayStation5, Xbox One, Playstation4, or PC, PGA TOUR 2K23 is packed with unbeatable multiplayer options that allow you to pit your skills against fellow gamers across the globe.
As with previous releases, PGA TOUR 2K23 benefits from a string of gameplay-enhancing, multiplayer features. These features add an extra competitive spark, allowing you to challenge friends or fellow golf and gaming enthusiasts worldwide.
Online societies allow gamers to create their own community of golfers to participate in events. This allows players to compete online in tournaments that would be typically found in the offline career mode.
The presence of in-game currency adds another dimension to the competition, creating virtual stakes and providing the winner with the braggadocious thrill of taking prize money from their defeated friends. This is a great option for those who want to combine the pressure and excitement of real-life golf, with the drama and tension of player vs player competition play.
